This is an extreme talk to help the developers to bootstrap with open source projects. The talk would try to get folks to grok the source, read as much code as possible or not be afraid to fork a project. In addition it would introduce the practical usage of GIT :: http://git-scm.com/, SVN :: http://subversion.tigris.org/, Mercurial :: http://mercurial.selenic.com/ . It would also cover the practise of sticking to an scalable editor ie. GNU Emacs http://www.gnu.org/s/emacs/ . The talk would also try to show importance of documentation, would cover a simple yet powerful tool Sphinx for documentation, http://sphinx.pocoo.org/
